About Me

Welcome to my blog! I’m Laura Douglass, a twenty four year old with a hopeless case of wanderlust. I graduated with my Master’s in Library and Information Science from the University of South Carolina in May 2015, and I’m in my first “big girl job”! What started as a ten week trip to a “spit of sand” called Nantucket has become my biggest and greatest life adventure. I work at the Nantucket Historical Association’s Research Library to manage and process the records of the NHA’s historic properties. Follow along as I document my adventures (and misadventures) as a washashore on this crazy beautiful island!
